Gestern vor 31 Monaten: Ihre Kinder wollten feiern. Sie kamen nie wieder nach Hause. Wer ist dafür verantwortlich? Warum ist dies alles passiert? Der Ermittlungsstand ist unbekannt. Für alle 21 Hinterbliebenen-Familien ein absolut unerträglicher Dauerzustand, der sich jetzt in dieser offenen Bitte an die Duisburger Staatsanwaltschaft formuliert.
Wir, die Familien der bei der Loveparade 2010 Verstorbenen, wollen unsere steigende Ungeduld und unsere Sorge aufgrund der langen Verfahrensdauer und der Undurchsichtigkeit der Ermittlungen durch die Staatsanwaltschaft Duisburg zum Ausdruck bringen.
Es ist uns bewusst, dass dieses Ermittlungsverfahren vielschichtig und schwierig ist. Aber unserer Meinung nach, sollten zweieinhalb Jahre ausreichen, um sie mit der nötigen Gewissheit abzuschließen, insbesondere wenn scheinbar mehrere Dutzend Beamte an den Ermittlungen beteiligt sind. Wir haben die Befürchtung, dass die Justiz, wenn sie so langsam arbeitet, am Ende zu einem ungerechten Ergebnis führt und darüber hinaus das Vertrauen derer verliert, die von ihr abhängig sind.
Davon abgesehen hat die Staatsanwaltschaft in diesen zweieinhalb Jahren nicht die geringsten Angaben über den Stand der Ermittlungen und deren Ergebnisse gemacht. Dieser Umstand und die Tatsache, dass unsere Anwälte an der Untersuchung nicht beteiligt werden, lassen uns in absoluter Ungewissheit über das Geschehen und verursachen ein Gefühl der Wehrlosigkeit.
Aus all diesen Gründen bitten wir darum, dass uns die Staatsanwaltschaft von Duisburg die gleiche Information zur Verfügung stellt wie den Verteidigern der Beschuldigten, da es für uns extrem wichtig ist zu wissen, was mit unseren Töchtern und Söhnen passiert ist. Und wir bitten darum, deshalb die laufenden Ermittlungen derart zu beschleunigen, dass sie vor dem nächsten 24. Juli (dem dritten Jahrestag unserer gemeinsamen Tragödie) abgeschlossen und somit das Gerichtsverfahren gegen die Verantwortlichen eröffnet werden kann. Der Prozess darf nicht länger verzögert werden.

PETICICIÓN A LA FISCALIA DE DUISBURG DE LAS FAMILIAS DE FALLECIDOS LOVE PARADE 2010
Las familias de los fallecidos en la Love Parade de julio de 2010 queremos expresar la inquietud y la preocupación que nos produce la lentitud y la opacidad de la investigación que está realizando la fiscalía de Duisburg.
Somos conscientes de que es compleja y difícil, pero dos años y medio de investigación, en nuestra opinión, es tiempo más que suficiente para completarla con todas las garantías, máxime cuando, según parece, varias decenas de funcionarios están dedicados al esclarecimiento de los hechos. La justicia, si es lenta, se vuelve injusta y además produce frustración a quienes se ven obligados a acudir a ella.
De otro lado, durante todo este tiempo la fiscalía no ha dado la más mínima información sobre la evolución y los resultados de la investigación. Esta circunstancia, unida a que nuestros abogados no pueden intervenir en el proceso, nos tiene en la más absoluta oscuridad sobre lo que está pasando y nos genera indefensión.
Por todo ello rogamos que la fiscalía de Duisburg nos facilite información sobre el caso en igualdad de condiciones que a los abogados defensores porque es nuestro derecho saber qué ocurrió a nuestros hijos; y agilice la investigación para que pueda estar concluida antes del 24 de julio próximo, fecha del tercer aniversario de nuestra tragedia colectiva, y abrir el juicio contra sus responsables, pues el proceso no debe demorarse por más tiempo.
COMUNICAZIONE DELLE FAMIGLIE DELLE VITTIME DEL LOVE PARADE 2010 A LA PROCURA DE DUISBURG
Noi familiari delle vittime della LP 2010 vogliamo esprimere la preoccupazione che ci viene dalla lentezza e opacità con cui la Procura di Duisburg sta svolgendo l’inchiesta.
Siamo consapevoli che sia complessa e difficile, ma due anni e mezzo di indagini, a nostro parere, costituiscono un tempo più che ragionevole per svolgerla e completarla con tutte le garanzie, soprattutto se, a quanto pare, diversi funzionari si dedicano esclusivamente ad essa. La giustizia se è lenta diventa ingiusta e produce frustrazione in coloro che da essa dipendono.
D’altra parte, durante tutto questo periodo la Procura non ha diffuso informazioni sull’evoluzione e sui risultati cui è pervenuta. Per questi motivi, per il fatto che i nostri avvocati non possano avere accesso agli atti e per essere tenuti nella più completa oscurità ci sentiamo impotenti e pieni di sconforto.
Per tutto ciò chiediamo di ricevere dalla Procura di Duisburg le stesse informazioni che i difensori hanno la possibilità di vedere e che a noi sono interdette; per noi è estremamente importante sapere quello che è successo e preghiamo che la Procura sia più veloce nelle indagini affinché queste si concludano entro il 24 luglio, data del terzo anniversario della nostra tragedia collettiva, e si inizi il processo contro i responsabili. Questo processo non può tardare ancora.
MESSAGE TO THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE IN DUISBURG FROM THE FAMILIES OF THE VICTIMS OF LOVE PARADE 2010
We, the families of the victims of the LP 2010, would like to express our worry about the slowness and lack of transparency with which the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Duisburg is working on the inquiry.
We are conscious that it is a complex and difficult case, but two and a half years of inquiries, in our opinion, is a reasonable time to complete it with the necessary care, especially if many people are devoted to this case only, as it is in this case. Slow justice causes frustration and heartache to those who are depending on it.
Additionally, during this period the Public Prosecutor has not informed us of any progress in the case or of any interim results. For the above reasons, and because the fact that our lawyers have not been permitted to investigate the legal proceedings, and because we have been left in complete darkness, we feel impotent and totally discouraged.
For this reason, we ask for the right to have access to the information currently available only for the defence and forbidden to us. It is very important for us to know what happened, so we pray the Public Prosecutor will conclude the enquiries rapidly, and to start the trial against the people responsible. We hope this action is taken before 24th July 2013, which is the third anniversary of our common tragedy.
